LIVING STEEL - TECH ENVIRO [BIKE GENERATOR] - NEW3DGE

Hello ! I'm happy to show you my Technical Art work on LIVING STEEL ! For this first project on our last year at New3dge, we were free to create a universe for a game, from scratch.
Here I will talk about the tools I developped for the Environment Artists of my crew.
The Bike Generator was a really thrilling challenge and an important one. We explore a biker's headquarter, so we need of course, a lot of bikes.

I Collaborated closely with Arthur Franchitto to split properly the 3 models of motorcycles he realized, that I use in my system.

So I developped a system that allows environment artists to efficently create several bike variations. You can edit different parts of the bike, its color and some other parameters.

The bags [Yellow Boxes in Graph] are more specific with more conditions. So they can adapt themselves to different configurations.

Then [Green Box], I used the diffuse and the MRAO maps as masks from the texture work of our Vehicle Artist, on top of a Car Paint Shader to have more control on the colors.
